In a shocking turn of events, a young marketing staff member at Globus Bank, 32-year-old Amarachi Ugochukwu, has been discovered dead at the bank's branch in Ikorodu, Lagos. The incident, which authorities have ruled as suicide, took place on Monday, January 8, 2024.
The distressing discovery was made when colleagues noticed Ugochukwu's absence from her desk and her unanswered ringing phone. Concerned for her well-being, they initiated a search throughout the premises. It was during this search that her lifeless body and an empty bottle of Sniper insecticide were found in the staff toilet.
According to an inside source, one of the office toilet doors had been locked from the inside, prompting the staff to force it open. Tragically, they found Ugochukwu's motionless body lying on the floor, alongside the suspected bottle of Sniper she had taken.
