In a shocking turn of events, a young marketing staff member at Globus Bank, 32-year-old Amarachi Ugochukwu, has been discovered dead at the bank's branch in Ikorodu, Lagos. The incident, which authorities have ruled as suicide, took place on Monday, January 8, 2024.
The distressing discovery was made when colleagues noticed Ugochukwu's absence from her desk and her unanswered ringing phone. Concerned for her well-being, they initiated a search throughout the premises. It was during this search that her lifeless body and an empty bottle of Sniper insecticide were found in the staff toilet.
