The Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Youth Development, Mr. Stanley Eshanomi, popularly known as Stanley Boss, has dismissed rumors suggesting his possible defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a press statement made available to journalists in Sapele, Stanley Boss described the rumors as baseless and fake news, urging the public to disregard the speculation. He affirmed his unwavering loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), emphasizing that the party remains his political home.
"I am a committed member of the PDP, deeply rooted in Sapele Local Government Area. PDP is my home, and I have no intentions of joining the opposition now or in the future," Stanley Boss declared.
Reiterating the need for unity within the party, he stressed the importance of working together as one big family to achieve success. According to him, the exemplary leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has strengthened the PDP in Delta State, leaving little room for opposition.
"In Delta State, there is no opposition.because Governor Oborevwori's outstanding performance speaks for itself. Even members of the opposition can attest to his achievements. If anyone from the opposition is willing to join the PDP, our doors are wide open," he said.
Stanley Boss further dismissed the defection rumors as a deliberate ploy by political adversaries to create division, stating, "The news of my alleged defection to APC is a fabrication by political enemies. It is nothing but lies designed for reasons best known to them."
He concluded by encouraging party members to remain steadfast, united, and focused on building a stronger PDP. "Politics is dynamic, and as loyal members, we must continue to strengthen our party and celebrate its successes," he added.
