Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, calls on Christians to honor their spiritual leaders and acknowledge the divine blessings in their lives.
In a heartfelt message delivered on Sunday, Governor Oborevwori encouraged believers to express their gratitude for the guidance of their spiritual fathers and the favor of God. The occasion was the 48th birthday celebration and the 26th anniversary of Archbishop Godday Iboyi's service as a minister of God. The thanksgiving service took place at the headquarters of Promise Kingdom Ministry, popularly known as Overflow Chapel, located in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of the state.
Representing the Governor, Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, offered prayers for Archbishop Iboyi, beseeching the Almighty for long life and good health for the esteemed clergyman. Governor Oborevwori reaffirmed the commitment of the state government and its people to join hands with the Overflow family in celebrating the remarkable life of this ordained man of God, who consistently intercedes for the Government of Delta State and Nigeria.
Addressing the congregation, Governor Oborevwori expressed, "I have come here today to celebrate with the Overflow Chapel family, rejoicing in God's faithfulness and the remarkable grace bestowed upon this true man of God in our time. We will continue to honor and celebrate you. On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and the entire Overflow family on the occasion of your 48th birth anniversary."
Archbishop Iboyi, in his response, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for gracing the celebration with his presence. He urged all residents of Delta State to stand united in supporting the Governor's M.O.R.E Agenda, emphasizing the importance of praying for him to bring transformative change to the State.
