When God called Apostle Dr. Daniel Ogharandunkun Ololo into ministry many years ago, some doubted his calling while others believed wholeheartedly that he was truly chosen. Today, the remarkable journey of this visionary and televangelist, fondly called Major One by his congregation and well-wishers, stands as a living testimony of divine grace and purpose.
From a humble and modest beginning, Apostle Ololo faced numerous trials in his early days of ministry. As a young servant of God, he endured tough seasons, challenges, and moments of uncertainty. Yet, his unshakable faith, dedication to the work of God, and belief in his divine assignment saw him through. Many critics predicted that Omega Prophetic Prayer Ministry (OPPM) would not survive beyond its first year. But God, in His infinite wisdom, proved them wrong, turning every doubt into a stepping stone for greater glory.
Before settling in Sapele under divine instruction, Apostle Ololo had already made a spiritual impact in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, where he tirelessly preached the gospel. His dedication to service and humanity endeared him to many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of the people. When Sapele embraced OPPM, the message of salvation, prosperity, and genuine generosity found fertile ground, and the ministry began to flourish beyond expectations.
Renowned for his boundless acts of philanthropy, Apostle Ololo’s generosity knows no boundaries, extending help to people irrespective of status, tribe, denomination, or background. Over the years, the Daniel Ololo Foundation and OPPM Empowerment Scheme have touched countless lives, providing support for education, small businesses, and the needy, while continuously uplifting communities both spiritually and materially.
On August 10, 2025, OPPM celebrated its 10th Anniversary of New Glory at the headquarters in Ogorode, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State. The event was more than a milestone; it was a moment of reflection and gratitude, especially as many of those who once doubted or mocked the man of God are now among his strongest supporters. This transformation of perception is itself a testament to God’s hand upon the ministry.
Over the years, OPPM has grown in numerical strength, expanded its reach, and won countless souls for Christ. The establishment of the OPPM Prayer Ground stands as a tangible symbol of the ministry’s growth and Apostle Ololo’s unwavering commitment to expanding God’s kingdom. From one level of glory to another, the journey has been marked by steady progress and divine provision.
Indeed, a decade later, OPPM remains strong and vibrant, its influence widening with each passing day. The story of this ministry is a clear reminder that when God calls His servant, He makes provision for the vision and shields His chosen from reproach. Apostle Ololo’s life and work bear witness to the truth that God does not abandon His own.
In this 10th year of grace, the focus remains steadfast on the teachings of Jesus Christ, to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. Apostle Dr. Daniel Ogharandunkun Ololo has dedicated himself to this mission and continues to do so with passion, humility, and unwavering faith. The past decade is only the beginning of what promises to be an even greater journey ahead.
