Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, is set to inaugurate the chairmen and members of eight important agencies, marking a significant step forward for the state. The inauguration will take place on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, starting promptly at 10:00 am.
The agencies to be inaugurated include the Delta State Library Board, School of Health Technology in Ofuoma, Delta State Urban Water Board, Delta State Development and Property Agency, Hospital Management Board, Institute of Continuing Education, Technical and Vocational Board, and Delta State Printing and Publishing Company.
These agencies have been established to drive progress and development in the state. The appointment of capable individuals to their boards is a testament to the government's commitment to efficient governance and service delivery.
In addition to the board members, Governor Oborevwori has also received approval to appoint 20 special advisers. This move demonstrates the governor's dedication to assembling a competent team that will provide valuable advice and support for the successful implementation of government policies and programs.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, emphasized that all appointees and invited guests should be seated by 9:30 am, ensuring a timely and organized inauguration ceremony.
