It was a confluence of fanfare and unprecedented jubilation as PDP Ward 1 Sapele Local Government Area, under the inspirational leadership of Hon. Chief Felix Uruemesiri Afure Anirah, played host to members of the Sapele Local Government PDP Campaign Council.
Party faithfuls gathered in their numbers at the country home of Ward 1 paramount leader, High Chief Felix Anirah, to join him in welcoming the SLG PDP Campaign Team.
In his speech, PDP Ward One Chairman, Hon. Jimmy Eta, on behalf of Ward 1 leaders, assured the party of resounding victory at all units in the ward. He added that ward one is adequately prepared and fully mobilized to ensure total victory for the party, come 13th July, 2024.
Earlier, Sapele Local Government PDP Chairman, Okakuro Godwin Dadi, officially presented the PDP Flag bearers for the election, Chief Bright Afure Abeke, Chairmanship candidate, alongside his Vice Mrs Dora Etebefia Aweto, as well as Ward 1 Councilorship candidate, Don Bagere, to the party supporters.
PDP stalwarts that were present at the ceremony include: Mr Austine Ayemidejor, Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. (Chief) Felix Uruemesiri Afure Anirah, PDP Ward 1 Leader, Hon. (Chief) Godwin Atose, Hon.(Chief) Eugene Inoaghan, immediate past Chairman, Sapele Local Government, Dr. Godfrey Enitan, Chief (Mrs) Eunice Anirah, Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on women Development.
