The Sapele Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated one of its members and Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Delta State on Community Newspapers, Comrade Prince Joseph Orhomonokpaye, and his wife, on their induction and admission as Knights of St. Mulumba of Nigeria (KSM) of the Catholic Church.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Sapele NUJ Chapel, Comrade Nelson Agbajor, and made available to journalists in Sapele. The chapel described the honour bestowed on Orhomonokpaye and his wife as well deserved and timely.
According to the statement, Orhomonokpaye’s elevation to the revered Catholic knighthood is a clear testament to his unwavering commitment and selfless service to God’s vineyard, as well as his dedication the Catholic faith.
“On behalf of members of the Sapele NUJ Chapel, I congratulate you and your wife on your new status as Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM),” Agbajor stated, noting that the honour reflects years of faithful service and exemplary conduct.
The NUJ chairman further prayed for God’s continued guidance and strength for the couple, adding, “It is my prayer that God will continue to grant you the strength and grace to do His work, in Jesus’ name,” while wishing them greater accomplishments in their service to the Church, society, and the journalism profession.
