By Rita Daniel

Hon. Oby Ezekwesili, a two-time Federal cabinet Minister,
Minister of solid minerals 2005 to June 2006 and Minister of Education 2006 to April 2007 during the Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo's administration, celebrates The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), The Everlasting Arm  Parish (TEAP) under the leadership of Pastor Everistus Uzoma Azodo.

She was not there as a mere - guest. She   and her faithful and God fearing husband, pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili  were pioneers to the planting of the parish thirteen years earlier .

TEAP is located at Plot 45, Damaturu Crescent, off Kab Street, Garki 11, Abuja.

The Everlasting Arm Parish was planted by pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili and he pastored  the branch for thirteen years before other pastors came in.

The thanksgiving service, which was marked by heartfelt worship and powerful praise, brought together church members to celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past 25 years.
Congregants expressed gratitude for divine direction, protection, and successes recorded throughout the years, giving credit and praise to God for using pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili as pioneer to planting of   the parish.

In a joyful atmosphere of thanksgiving, the event featured special praise sessions as the congregation worshipped and honoured God for seeing the parish through a quarter-century mission. The programme reflected the church’s gratitude and renewed commitment to advancing God’s work.

Sharing a few words while taking the Thanksgiving offering, Hon. Oby admonished everyone present to focus on the gains of God's Covenant. She  emphasized on the benefits of divine covenant and encouraged believers to live in active faith, trusting that God’s promises remain dependable and everlasting.

In her few words, she emphasized on the gains of God’s covenant, that  to fully enjoy the gains of any covenant with God, you must be ready to fulfill its terms and conditions by surrendering totally to him and obeying all his instructions.
Reading from Deuteronomy 21:1-14 and other Bible references.
The key point of her brief word is "anyone who obeys the terms of God's covenant will reap its gains".

The anniversary service ended with further prayers and thanksgiving, as members reaffirmed their devotion to God and renewed their hope for greater grace in the years ahead. As TEAP marks its 25th year, the church remains anchored on covenant faithfulness and the assurance of fresh blessings.
